SEND + RECEIVE v16

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4

Media Hub, 72 Princess St. 3rd fl.

7:30 door / 8 pm start / $15 entry

Cellist Okkyung Lee (KR) may be one of the hardest working artist in improv, working with luminaries such as John Zorn, Evan Parker, and Thurston Moore to name a few. To conclude v16 Okkyung performs in her exceptional duo project with New York-based choreographer / dancer Michelle Boulé. Together they create a spontaneously defined performance space using music, dance, and light. These elements are set into motion by the vehicle of improvisation where perception of form shifts, and a new dimension of performance opens.
