PATANA: FINAL CALL
An Exchange of choreographic voices

The Gas Station Arts Centre will be the venue for an evening of percussion, chants and highly energetic African inspired movement as well as rhythm driven choreographies by two well-known choreographers.

Kevin A. Ormsby, Artistic Director of KasheDance Toronto presents “Na’Wake Variations”. Evoking the traditions present in world cultures, “Na’Wake Variations” illicit the internal self to dance. Also under the unity of the PATANA banner, Michèle Moss, a Calgary based Choreographer, dancer and co-founder of “Decidedly Jazz Danceworks”, presents her new work “much like dreaming, this”.
