Sarah Struthers

Sarah Struthers is a non-binary emerging theatre artist and multidisciplinary creative based in Treaty 1 Territory. They are the youngest of six and have always had an avid imagination. A graduate of the University of Winnipeg’s Honours Devised Theatre program, Sarah specializes in movement-based storytelling and creating whimsical masks out of recycled materials. They have a keen interest in the narratives found through mirrors and shadow-play. Most recently, Sarah performed at Downtown Culture Days with Weather Parade Dance Theatre and Mark Dela Cruz for “In the Dark”, an outdoor dance installation. They are currently being mentored by Alex Elliott through the Creative Manitoba Professional Mentorship program.
