YLDE Online Auction Fundraiser!

Young Lungs Dance Exchange (YLDE) is a not-for-profit artist-run organization who is grateful to have the incredible support of donors. We are able to continue our abilities to be a critical network which connects, sustains, and champions dance and movement artists in Manitoba and beyond thanks to over 15-years of community-driven fundraising efforts. 

The goal of YLDE’s 2022 fundraiser is to strengthen our three poles of programming: Research Series, Workshop Series, and Outreach Series. The Research Series provides space, time, and financial support for selected artists to further explore critical inquiries related to dance and movement creation. The Workshop Series provides a platform wherein artists can share knowledge while exploring emergent questions related to training and form in a supportive environment with peers. The Outreach Series is a flexible approach to knowledge sharing which encompasses casual, personal encounters with dance and performance that have taken shape as movement research labs, reading groups, and artist talks. All three poles connect artists in ways that are transdisciplinary, transregional, and collaborative while bringing audiences closer to the inner workings of the creative process.
