Gaile Petursson-Hiley joins forces with Lighting Designer Robert Mravnik and the Artists of Drive Dance in the world premiere of her newest full length creation “Eclipse”. Petursson-Hiley places the spotlight on her six stellar dancers who bare their souls without reservation in a series of eclectic solo, duet, and quartet tableaus that captivate the eye and stimulate the imagination. Eclipse unleashes all that is wild, creative and untamed in a fantasy world with a deep connection to spirit and nature. The powerful theatricality of the body and the visceral, elegant movement embodied in this new work, celebrates beauty, emotion, physicality and vulnerability through contemporary dance.
