Azka Ahmed

Azka is a Southwest Asian interdisciplinary artist and community health educator in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Treaty 1 Territory. Azka’s work explores themes of identity, relationships, wellness and diaspora. Their practice involves cultural activism through art and education by delivering workshops, sharing poetry, and creating evocative lens-based artwork. They are a believer in vulnerability and practicing continuous compassion. Azka hopes their work inspires you to deepen the connection between yourself and those around you.
